Elizabeth L. Packard

Enfield — Elizabeth "Betty" L. (Favreau) Packard, 62, of Enfield, entered into eternal life on Sunday, May 4, 2003, at her residence.

She was born Nov. 1, 1940, in Plattsburgh, N.Y., the daughter of the late Armand and Eva (Babbie) Favreau.

Betty resided in Champlain, N.Y., and was a graduate of St. Mary's School prior to moving to Enfield 39 years ago. She was formerly employed by Sage-Allen, Enfield, and was a member of St. Adalbert's Church.

Betty is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years, Edward Packard; her loving daughter, Tanya A. Packard and fiancé, Ted Taupier of Enfield; her faithful dog, Scooter; three sisters, Florence Cardin of Champlain, N.Y., Lucille Wells of Winter Haven, Fla., and Patricia Dwight of Chazy, N.Y.; a brother, Roger Favreau of Champlain, N.Y.; along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Betty was predeceased by a brother, Arsen Favreau.

Funeral services for Betty were held on Wednesday, May 7, 2003, at 9 a.m. from Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, Enfield, followed by a Mass of Christian burial in St. Adalbert's Church, 90 Alden Avenue, Enfield. Committal service took place in St. Adalbert Cemetery, Enfield.

Betty's family received relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 6, 2003, at the funeral home.

Memorial donations in her memory may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society CT Chapter, 705 N. Mountain Road, Suite G102, Newington, CT 06111-1411, or the Neurofibromotosis Society Foundation, 26 Hopkins Hill Road, Naugatuck, CT 06770.

Wayne Walter Gillett

Plattsburgh — Wayne Walter Gillett, 54, of Altona, died Sunday, May 11, 2003, at his mother's home.

He was born in Champlain, N.Y., on Feb. 7, 1949, son of Franklin "Sonny" Gillett and Gloria (Guerin) Gillett Nephew.

Wayne was a high school graduate, a Vietnam veteran serving in the U.S. Army and a musician locally and in California.

Wayne is survived by an ex-wife, Jan Gillett of Altona; a daughter and son-in-law, Sarah Gillett Reyell and Darrell Reyell of West Chazy; a grandson Dylan Reyell of West Chazy; former partner, Maude Trudeau of Beekmantown; their children, Olivia and Aragon Gillett of Beekmantown; sisters, June and Ronald Dame of Charlotte, N.C., Sondra and John Brockman of Hillsborough, N.C.; half sisters, Tina Nephew of Altona, Shelly Nephew of Mooers Forks, Sheri Bonacquisti of California; and a half brother, Randy Gillett of California.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, May 14, 2003, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Altona. Burial will follow in Holy Angel's Cemetery in Altona.

Pauline Booth, 73, of Plattsburgh and formerly of Ellenburg Center, died Monday, May 12, 2003, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

Calling hours will be Friday morning from 9 to 10:45 a.m. at the O'Neill-Redden-Drown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday from Our Lady Of Victory Church in Plattsburgh, entombment will follow in Whispering Maples Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Ellenburg Depot.

Roy Clinton Manning, 88, of Ticonderoga, died Monday, May 12, 2003, at the Moses-Ludington Hospital of Ticonderoga.

He was born Nov. 13, 1914, in Ticonderoga.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Marjorie Floor, pastor of the Episcopal Church of the Cross of Ticonderoga, will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date.

Dulcie V. Sherman, 65, Bradford Road, West Plattsburgh, N.Y., died May 13, 2003, at Fletcher Allen Medical Center, Burlington VT.

She was born Aug. 31, 1937, in Caribou, Maine, daughter of William H. Bradford and Amy T. Bradford Ward.

R.W. Walker Funeral home will be in charge of arrangements which are incomplete at this time.

JohnsonA memorial service will be held Saturday, May 17, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. at the Lewis Congregational Church for Ethel M. Johnson 92, of Wells Hill Road, Lewis who died Sunday, March 16, 2003, at her daughters home.

Arrangements were with W.M. Marvins Sons Funeral Home, Elizabethtown.

LesperanceA graveside committal service will be held Saturday, May 17, 2003, at 9:30 a.m. at the Lewis Cemetery, for Thelma I. Lesperance, 78, of Horace Nye Home who died Jan. 26, 2003.

Arrangements were with W.M. Marvins Sons Funeral Home, Elizabethtown.

Neuntaier Burial services will be held at the Lewis Cemetery, Saturday May 17, 2003, at 11 a.m. for Eugene C. Neuntaier, died March 1, 2003.

Arrangements were with W.M. Marvins Sons Funeral Home, Elizabethtown.

HAMILTON Graveside services will be held May 17, 2003, at 9 a.m. at the North Jay Cemetery, AuSable Forks for John Dana Hamilton, 52, who died March 18, 2003, in Vermont.

HebertsGraveside services will be held May 17, 2003, at 12 noon, at the Peru Cemetery Inc., in the Kennedy family plot, for Margaret S. Heberts, 101, who died Dec. 22, 2002, in Plattsburgh. Rev. Virginia Pierce will be officiating.

CASSEVAUGHGraveside services will be held May 17, 2003, at the North Jay Cemetery, AuSable Forks at 2 p.m.

NUTTA graveside service for Frank A. Nutt, 81, formerly of Rouses Point, will be held Saturday, May 24, 2003, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Rouses Point. Prayers by Rev. Nancy Clancy, Military honors to follow.

FessetteA graveside service for Tami Lynn Fessette, who passed away over the winter will be held Thursday, May 15, 2003, at 2 p.m. in the Glenwood Cemetery in Champlain.

DrolletteA graveside service for Francis A. Drollette, who passed away over the winter will be held Thursday, May 15, 2003, at 9 a.m. in the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Dannemora.

GRANDEA memorial Mass will take place at St. Peter’s Church at 10 a.m. on May 16, 2003, for Lorraine L. Grande, who passed away on Nov. 2, 2002. Burial will immediately follow.

SARANACA committal service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at the Saranac Independence Cemetery in Saranac for Janet Forsythe at 2 p.m. and James Scarborough at 2:15 p.m.
