Brenda Cole Fleming

Ticonderoga — Brenda Cole Fleming, 39, of Killicutt Mountain Road in Ticonderoga died Monday, May 5, 2003, at the Mary Hitchcock Hospital in Lebanon, N.H. after a long illness.

She was born on Oct. 22, 1964, in Ticonderoga, the daughter of Charles D. and Joan (Hebert) Cole, also of Ticonderoga.

Brenda enjoyed her animals.

Besides her parents she is survived by one brother, Charles R. Cole of Ticonderoga; and one sister, Joan Fuller; also of Ticonderoga.

There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Arrangements are with the Connery & Gunning Funeral Home in Ticonderoga,

Adolphus LaPierre, 81, of Sunset Avenue, died Sunday, May 4, 2003, at the Fletcher Allen Hospital in Vermont.

He was born Oct. 13, 1921 in Massena, N.Y., the son of Antonie O. And Hazel h. (Snyder) LaPierre.

Calling hours were be held Wednesday, May 7, 2003 at the Richer Funeral Home in Tupper Lake. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday morning, may 8, at St. Alphonsus Church at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Lakeview cemetery with full military honors.

Clara C. Jock, 95, of Dundee Road, Fort Covington, N.Y., died Tuesday evening May 6, 2003, at the Highland Nursing Home in Massena, N.Y.

He was born in Bombay, N.Y., April 28, 1908, the daughter of the late Luke and Mary Jane (Duermars) Bowen.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church in Fort Covington, with Rev. Kris Lauzon, officiating. Burial will be in the old St. Mary's Cemetery in Fort Covington. Arrangements are through Cappiello-McKenzie and Cosgrove Funeral Home in Fort Covington.

FITZPATRICK — Committal services for Carolin H. Fitzpatrick who passed away over the winter will be held Friday, May 9, 2003, in Mt. Camel Cemetery in Plattsburgh.

Arrangements were with the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh,

CADYVILLE — A Memorial Mass and committal services for Leonard C. Facteau and Sarah E. LaVarnway who passed away over the winter will be held Friday May 9, 2003 at 9:00 AM from St. James Minor Church in Cadyville. Committals will follow in the St. James Minor Cemetery.

Arrangements were with the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.

LONG — A graveside service for Herbert C. Long, who passed away over the winter will be held Friday, May 9, 2003, at 10 a.m. in the Cadyville Protestant Cemetery in Cadyville.

Arrangements were with the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.

ARMES — Service for Mary Ellen (Napp) Armes, who passed away Dec. 8, 2002, will take place on Saturday, May 10, 2003, at 2 p.m. at the family plot of the May Memorial Cemetery of Hague. The Rev. Charles Holliday, her brother-in-law, will officiate.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, Ticonderoga.

CHAPUK — A graveside service for Thelma E. Chapuk of Moriah will be conducted Friday, May 9, 2003, at 11:45 a.m. at St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Moriah, N.Y. Arrangements were with the Harland Funeral Home, Port Henry.

CADYVILLE — A memorial Mass will be held at St. James Minor Church in Cadyville on Friday, May 9, 2003, at 8:30 a.m. for Milton LaForest and Ruth Goddeau with burial to follow.

The arrangements are by the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
