Ellenburg Depot — Herbert R. Therrian, 70, of 703 Alder Bend Road, passed away on Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

He was born in Altona on July 12, 1932, son of Joseph and Leah (Recore) Therrian.

Herbert attended Altona School. He had retired from the Altona Highway Department after many years of service. He also did logging and was a farmer. Herbert enjoyed hunting, fishing and raising cattle.

Herbert is survived by his wife of 51 years, Georgia (Pecor) Therrian of Alder Bend Road; three sons and three daughters-in-law, Herbert (Dobbie) and Diane Therrian of Altona, Fredrick and Nichole Therrian of Ellenburg Depot and Michael and Patty Therrian of Ellenburg Depot; four daughters and four sons-in-law, JoAnn and James Miller of Chazy, Rhonda and Reginald Trombley of Churubusco, Sarah and Daniel Watts of Ellenburg Depot and Lisa and Barrie Stevenson of Ellenburg Depot; three sisters, Beatrice Rabideau of Altona, Genevieve Miller of Champlain and Shirley Pecor of Altona; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Herbert was predeceased by two brothers, Carl Therrian and Lawrence Therrian; and 11 sisters, Emma Therrian, Marie Therrian, Anna Atkinson, Rosealm Rabideau, Doris Santora, Georgiana LaPorte, Mabel Thompson, Lillian Barcomb, Clara Ezro, Cecelia Rabideau and Florence McDonald.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Altona. A reception will follow at the Altona Town Hall.

Donations in Mr. Therrian's memory may be made to the Altona Volunteer Fire Department.

Joseph J. Martina, 79, of Morrison Avenue, Plattsburgh, died on Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

Calling hours will be Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, at 11 a.m. from St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will be later in the year in Dansville, N.Y.

Davison F. Pratt, 74, of Chazy, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.

Arrangements were incomplete Saturday evening at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Mooers.
