Published: 11/15/02Helena ReynoldsEssex, N.Y. — Our beloved Helena Reynolds, 90 years old, passed peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002. She was born on Sept. 10, 1912, in Essex, N.Y. Helena was very proud of her 60 years in business at the Echo Lake Cottages and Eagle’s Nest Motel in Willsboro, N.Y. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of the American Legion and a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church. She leaves behind a daughter, Ramona Young; a son, Rodney Reynolds and wife Jane; a sister, Pearl Pulsifer and husband Rolland; and a daughter-in-law Patricia Reynolds. Helena was predeceased by her husband Clifford and son Skip Reynolds. She will always be remembered by her 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The family will be forever grateful to her friend and caregiver, Ruth Fieneman. Helena’s passing is heartfelt by her family and friends as she was a very special lady and will truly be missed. Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002, at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Willsboro, N.Y. Donations can be made to the Willsboro United Methodist Church or the Willsboro Rescue Squad. John Rivers Jr., 90, of the Perham Road in Malone, died Nov. 14, 2002, at the Massena Memorial Hospital in Massena, N.Y., where he had been a patient since Friday. He had been a resident at the St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena since June 2001. He was born in Belmont, N.Y., on Feb. 4, 1912, the son of the late John and Delia (Hosler) Rivers Sr. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 20th at 10 a.m. in Notre Dame Cemetery in Malone. Arrangements are through the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service of Malone. |
