Stanley Boire

Lewes, Del. — Stanley Boire, of Lewes, Del., died of heart failure at his home on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002.

He was born on his family’s dairy farm in Champlain, N.Y., and was a retired Restaurant owner in New York and Delaware.

He formerly owned the Blue Lantern Restaurant in Wilmington, Del., and was formerly part owner of the Tip Top Restaurant in Newark, Del., he also co-owned with his wife the Boire’s Hair Designs and Day Spa in Rehoboth Beach, Del.

He enjoyed fishing, boating, gardening and cooking for his family.

He was a member and usher at St. Edmund’s Catholic Church in Rehoboth Beach, Del., the Knights of Columbus in Wilmington, Del., Angola - By - The - Bay Men’s Club and the Cape Henlopen Elks Club 2540.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Paula Grimshaw.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Annabelle Boire; three daughters, Susan Boire Yates of Bear, Del., Jayla Boire Gianoulis of Wilmington, Del., and Mary Colleen Grady of Lewes, Del.; a brother, Gerald Boire of Champlain, N.Y.; four sisters, Stella Quelch of Alexandria, Va., Jane Zmudzinski of Fairfax, Va., Yvonne Santimaw of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Simonne Monette of Champlain, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Kyle Wanstall, Rachel Boire, Alyce and Nick Grady.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at St. Edmund’s Catholic Church, King Charles Avenue, Rehoboth Beach on Friday, Aug. 16, 2002, at 10 a.m. Friends may call at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services on Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. Burial will be in the Epworth Cemetery in Rehoboth Beach.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 185 Salem Church Rd, Newark DE. 19713-2997, or St. Edmund’s Catholic Church, P.O. Box 646, Rehoboth Beach, DE. 19971.

Donald Orell Massey died Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, at Hospice at Ellis Hospital.

He was born April 26, 1919, in Plattsburgh, N.Y., son of the late Robert F. Mossey and Anna Major Mossey

Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 8:15 a.m. from Light’s Funeral Home, 1428 State Street, Schenectady, N.Y., and at 9:00 a.m. at St. Luke’s Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may also call at Light’s Funeral Home, Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. for calling hours. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

Herbert W. Santor, 72, of Lovers Lane in West Chazy, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002, at the Evergreen Valley Nursing Home in Plattsburgh.

Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
