BEEKMANTOWN — John J. Gregware Sr., 51, of the Spellman Road, died Monday, July 29, 2002, at his home.

He was born in Plattsburgh on Jan. 12, 1951, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth (West) Gregware.

John worked on the Gregware family farm, until mid 1980's when he became disabled.

Survivors include two sons, John Gregware Jr. of Chazy and Benjamin Gregware of Chazy and his fiancee, Melissa Gagne of St. Albans, Vt.; two brothers, Bill Gregware of Chazy and Joseph Gregware of Chazy; one granddaughter, Kellie Manor of Beekmantown; three nieces and two nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Chazy. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Donations may be made to the local chapter for Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

Arrangements are by the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.

TAMMIE L. McLEAN, 34, of Haselton Road, Wilmington, N.Y., passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2002, at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.

She was born in Lake Placid May 31, 1968, the daughter of Richard and Virginia (LaMere) Preston.

Friends may call Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid. Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 2, 2002, at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Rev. Derek Spain, pastor of the Lake Placid Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Haselton Cemetery in Wilmington, N.Y.

MARGARET M. LaBARGE, 90, formerly of Altona, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, at the Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility in Plattsburgh. Arrangements were incomplete Thursday evening at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Ellenburg Depot.
