She is survived by her eldest daughter, Giselle Remillard from Pennsylvania and son, Jerry Remillard of Montreal; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great - great- grandchildren, all from Pennsylvania. SenecalJAY — Roger L. Senecal, 79, of Route 86, died Saturday, July 13, 2002, at the CVPH Medical Center, Plattsburgh. He was born Nov. 4, 1922, in Keene, the son of George and Ethel (Lamb) Senecal. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the 1252nd U.S. Army air forces base unit serving in the European African Middle Eastern area. He was a self employed Mason brick layer. Roger owned and operated a maple sugar Co., which had been in the family since 1866. He also was an avid hunter and ice fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Marie Goff Senecal, whom he married July 27, 1991, in Lake Placid; six stepchildren, Raymond and Dorothea Pratt of Lake Placid, Geri Keefe of New Port Richey, Fla., Patricia and James Huber of Illinois, Albert and Elizabeth Goff, James Goff and fiancée Jane Hart and Bill and Andrea Goff, all of Lake Placid; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. His first wife, Katherine Pratt Senecal died August 1984. Other relatives who predeceased him were a brother, George Senecal; two sisters, Evelyn and Alice; a child at birth, Mary Joan Senecal; and a step daughter, Barbara Pratt. Calling hours will be Tuesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Zaumetzer - Sprague Funeral Home, Au Sable Forks. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Keeseville. Memorials to him may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of ones choice. Judy A. BowenWILMINGTON — Judy A. Bowen, 59, of Everest Place, died Monday, July 15, 2002, at the Adirondack Medical Center, Saranac Lake. She was born July 29, 1942 in Lake Placid, the daughter of Clarence William and Marion (Shumway) Alford. Judy was a faithful town clerk for Wilmington for 21 years. She also was a republican committee woman for several years. She was always ready to help anyone in need. Judy is survived by her husband, Robert Bowen, whom she married Aug. 1, 1959, in Wilmington; three daughters and a son-in-law, Kelly Bowen, Kathy Bowen and companion Dan Smith and Kim and Don Hoover, all of Wilmington; a sister, Victoria Hozley also of Wilmington; seven grandchildren, Tia Wilkerson, Gregory Winch Jr., Jesse Winch, Daniel Smith Jr., Karlee Smith, Robert Keith Bowen and Kayla Hoover; two great - grandchildren, Ashton Winch and Kyle Wilkerson; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; and a sister, Edna Gay Sprague. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Zaumetzer - Sprague Funeral Home, Au Sable Forks. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Marty Bausman on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Pleasant View Cemetery, Wilmington. Memorials to her may be made to the Wilmington Fire and Rescue Service. Patrick Perrea CHAMPLAIN — Patrick Perrea, 88, of Champlain, passed away Monday, July 15, 2002, at his home. He was born March 20, 1914, in Champlain, the son of Albert and Mary (Taylor) Perrea, Patrick worked for the Village of Champlain for 22 years as the Superintendent. He is survived by his wife, Eleanore Perrea ; four sons, Allen Perrea, Arthur Perrea, Roy Perrea and Maurice Perrea; one stepdaughter, Janice Koslofski; a step son, Victor Vancour; two sisters, Yvonne Yelle and Lillian Bechard; nine grandchildren; and seven great - grandchildren. There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2002, at St. Mary’s Church in Champlain. Arrangements are with the Clark Funeral Home in Champlain. Sol Weitzman, 87, of Rockville, Md., and until recently a resident of Malone, who suffered a heart attack and died July 7, 2002. He was born in Brooklyn in 1915. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 9, 2002. Rabbi Warren Stone of Rockville conducted the graveside services at the Judeau Memorial Gardens Cemetery. FANNIE HALL, 97, of the Cordorory Road in Chilson, died Monday, July 15, 2002, at the Moses Ludington Nursing Home in Ticonderoga. She was born in Port Henry on Jan. 2, 1905, the daughter of Dennis and Rosella (Putnam) Chaney. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2002, at the Chilson Methodist Church. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family in the Chilson Community Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Connery & Gunning Funeral Home in Ticonderoga. |
