Ryan, 73, a resident of the Cameron Glen Care Center in Reston, Va., since 1995, died Thursday, July 4, 2002, after a long illness. He was born on April 30, 1929, the son of the late Matthew and Mildred (Dubrey) Ryan of Saranac, N.Y. An accomplished baseball player in his youth, Robert attended St. John's Academy and then earned a bachelor's degree at Champlain College, both located in Plattsburgh, N.Y. After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, he owned and operated an Agway store in Saranac for 30 years prior to closing his business and moving to Virginia, due to declining health. While residing in the North Country, Robert was a member of the Grange and Knights of Columbus and served as a volunteer in various public service activities. Robert's wife, Noreen (Murphy) Ryan, of Potsdam, N.Y., predeceased him in June of 1979. He is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Ryan of Arlington, Va., Regina Ryan of Columbia, Md., and Dr. Paula Ryan of Boston, Mass.; by a son-in-law, Jonathan Hager of Columbia, Md.; and a granddaughter, Audrey Hager of Columbia, Md. Robert is also survived by four siblings, Dorothy Gowett of Manchester, Conn., Harold Ryan of Saranac, N.Y., Dr. Gerald Ryan of Rochester, N.Y., and Marilyn McCrank of Rochester N.Y. His brother, Matthew Ryan, predeceased him. A funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 13", at St. Joseph's Church, located at 179 Smith St. in Dannemora, N.Y. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, adjacent to the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a favorite charity. Donna "Cookie" Lee PlumadoreMorrisonville — Donna "Cookie" Lee Plumadore, 60, of West Main Street, passed away Saturday, July 6, 2002, at her home surrounded by her family and her friends, Lynn Hayes and Sheila Baker. She was born in Plattsburgh on June 26, 1942, the daughter of Leonard E. and Mildred R. (Davidson) Chase. Donna attended Saranac Central School and worked as a home health aide. She enjoyed fishing, yard sales, working in her yard and loved being with people. Donna is survived by her mother, Mildred R. Chase of Morrisonville; a son, Andrew William Plumadore; two daughters, Colleen Ruth Plumadore of Morrisonville and Robin Plumadore of Morrisonville; a brother, Leonard Chase Jr. of Keeseville; and one niece and two nephews. Donna was predeceased by one grandchild, Misty Ruth Plumadore. Calling hours will be Monday, July 8, 2002, from 10 until 11:45 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at noon from the Brown Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Roger White, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Morrisonville, officiating. Interment will follow in Saranac Independence Cemetery. Friends wishing may make donations to her family. Robert G. AnthonyRouses Point — Robert G. Anthony, 67, died Thursday, July 4, 2002, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Rouses Point on Feb. 20, 1935, the son of Herman and Mildred (Aubrey) Anthony. Robert was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957 to 1962. He was employed at the D&H Railroad as a car man and supervisor from 1953 to 1984. He was a member of the American Legion Post 912 and St. Patrick's Church. He enjoyed doing auto body repair and doing craft works. He also enjoyed his winter trips to Phoenix, Ariz. Robert is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rose (Campbell) Anthony, whom he married Oct. 11, 1958; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Randy Anthony of Plattsburgh, Scott and Michelle Anthony of Rouses Point, Arthur and Rhonda Anthony of Franklin, Vt.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Sheridan (Ted) Tedford, Robin and Larry Manor and Barbara and Garry Manor, all of Champlain and Gail and Brad Martin of Rouses Point; nine grandchildren, Melissa Anthony, Teddy and Jennifer Tedford, Cory and Erica Ballantine, Timothy and Eric Manor, Dustin Manor and Ashley Martin; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Patrick and Patricia Tardif of Phoenix, Ariz., and Sandra Faulkner of Phoenix, Ariz.; several sisters and brothers-in-law; and nieces and nephews. His parents and his mother and father-in-law died earlier. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday from St. Patrick's Church in Rouses Point. Memorial donations may be made to the Rouses Point Fire Department or the American Heart Association. The E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Champlain is in charge of arrangements. Harold P. Brunell, 71, of Charles Way in Morrisonville, died Friday, July 5, 2002, at the Fletcher Allen Health Care Facility in Burlington, Vt.
