Cynthia A. McIntyre

Plattsburgh — Cynthia A. McIntyre, 36, of 31 Johnson Avenue, died as a result of a motorcycle accident on Tuesday, July 2, 2002.

She was born at Andrews Air Force Base, Md., on Feb. 24, 1966, the daughter of Keith and Linda McIntyre of Saranac Lake (recently from Jay), N.Y.

Cindie was a graduate of Saranac Central High School. She also attended Clinton Community College. She previously owned "Little Mac" Store in Schuyler Falls, N.Y. She worked for Doug Lamoy's Produce for a number of years. The last five years of her young life she worked for Cresent Creamery out of Massachusetts.

Cindie loved the outdoors. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, climbing mountains and gardening. She loved her dogs and cats.

She leaves behind her soul mate and love of her life, Mr. Nicholas Angelos of Plattsburgh, whom she planned on marrying next Aug. 30, 2003. Surviving are her parents; her sister Iris and husband Paul Gillman of Saranac, N.Y., and her sister Kimberlee and her husband David Lang of Lake City, Fla. She is also survived by her grandmother, Winnie Kautz of Castalia, Ohio; her nieces, Amanda Lang, Kelsie and Brittany Gillman and her nephews, Nick Lang, Trevor and Aaron McIntyre.

Calling hours will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday morning from 9 to 10:45 a.m. at Zaumetzer's Funeral Home, 3 College St., in AuSable Forks, N.Y. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 6th, at the United Methodist Church of AuSable Forks, N.Y. Reception and burial to follow.

Donations may be made in Cindie’s name to the Adirondack Humane Society.

George W. Braid, 69, of AuSable Street, Keeseville, died Wednesday, July 3, 2002, in Lebanon, N.H.

Calling hours will be held Friday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Keeseville.

Rosemary Branagan, 81, of Washington Street in Watertown, formerly of West Chazy, died

Monday, July 1, 2002, at her home.

Calling hours will be held Friday, July 5, from 5 to 7 p.m. at D.L. Clarco Funeral Home in Watertown. A funeral service will be held Friday evening at 7 p.m. at D.L. Clarco Funeral Home in Watertown.

Evelyn M. Briere, 90, of 70 Sawyer Ave., Malone, N.Y., died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 2, 2002, at her home.

She was born in Malone on Aug. 25, 1911, the daughter of the late Frank and Maude (Fountain) Chauvin.

Calling hours will be Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9 a.m. at Notre Dame Church in Malone. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.

Duffy — A memorial service for the family and friends of Gerald J. Duffy, who died March 19, 2002 in Wellesley, Mass., and his son Kevin S. Duffy, who died Dec. 27, 2001, in Naples, Fla., will be held on Friday, July 5, 2002, at noon at St. John’s Church in Plattsburgh. Private interment at Mt. Carmel Cemetery will follow. Arrangements with Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.
