She was born in Plattsburgh April 21, 1936, daughter of Clyde and Beulah (Wells) Way. Mrs. Gonyea was employed for 34 years at Georgia Pacific in Plattsburgh. She was charter member of the Peru VFW Post 309 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading and traveling. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Vickey Gonyea of Morrisonville; tow daughters and one son-in-law, Yvette Gonyea of Morrisonville, and Zorlanda and Danny Saucier of Morrisonville; her mother, Beulah Way of Plattsburgh; one granddaughter, Carrie Jean Gonyea of Morrisonville; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Irene Way of Peru, Robert and Tina Way of Keeseville, and Harold and Joan Way of West Chazy; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Patricia Fournier of Peru, and Beverly and Raymond Blaise of Keeseville; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Mahylon Gonyea. Calling hours will be private and at the convenience of the family. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Alexander’s Church in Morrisonville with the Rev. William Reamer, chaplain at the CVPH Medical Center celebrating. Gibeau, 89, of Palmer Street, died Saturday, June 29, 2002, at the Clinton County Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh on July 3, 1912, son of the late Joseph and Rose (Lemieux) Gebo. Raymond worked as a firefighter for the City of Plattsburgh for 27 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of St. Peter’s Church, the First Friday Club, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Plattsburgh Lodge #621. He is survived by one daughter and a son in law, Carolyn and Howard Congleton of Plattsburgh; one brother, Wilfred Gibeau of Plattsburgh, one sister, Lillian Brault of Plymouth, Mass., four grandchildren: Kim Congleton of Plattsburgh, Keith Congleton of Danville, Ky., Kyle Congleton of Fisherville, Va., Kara Congleton of Pittsburg, Pa., 11 great-grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews. Raymond was predeceased by his wife, Ruth, in 1997, his brothers Oscar Gebo in 1970 and Henry Gebo in 1993. "Ron" Rabideau, 58, of Tioga Lane, Plattsburgh, and Orlando, Fla., died Saturday, June 29, 2002, at the Florida Hospital East in Orlando. He was born in Plattsburgh on Dec. 29, 1943, the son of Everest and Lillian (Venne) Rabideau. Ron was chief consultant for Passero Associates Engineering in Rochester, N.Y. He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Plattsburgh Lodge #621, and he enjoyed playing cards. He was a member of St. Mary’s of the Lake Church. Ronald is survived by two brothers and their wives, Ross and Sandy Rabideau of Cadyville; and Brian and Mary Rabideau of Plattsburgh; a sister and brother in law, Patricia and Larry Mooney of Plattsburgh; aunts, uncles and cousins; three nieces and three nephews, Adam, Matthew, Heidi, Heather, Michelle and Michael; great-nieces Amanda and Kelsie; great-nephews, Brandon, Nathan, Nicholas and Camden.
