Mooers Forks — Cylinda S. Hebert, 88, formerly of Mooers Forks, died Sunday, June 23, 2002, at the Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone.

She was born in Mooers Forks on Oct. 7, 1913, the daughter of Eli and Edith (Barcomb) LaValley.

She was a member of the St. Anne’s Society in Mooers Forks and the St. Joseph’s Altar - Rosary Society in Malone.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest and Doris Hebert of Ellenburg and Gilbert and Sharon Hebert of Burke; a daughter and son-in- law, Theresa and Bob Dufrane of Malone; a brother-in-law, James Grace of Constable; two sisters-in-law, Veronica Delaney of Sciota and Lee LaBarge of Mooers Forks; 15 grandchildren; 31 great - grandchildren; two great - great - grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Her husband, Delma Hebert died in 1979. A daughter, Joanne Grace; two brothers, Eli and Hector LaValley; two sisters, Lizzie Brassard and Lena LaValley; and three grandchildren, Rick Dufrane, Terry Anne Dufrane and Steven Hebert also died earlier.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Mooers. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday from St. Anne’s Church in Mooers Forks. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.

Ann H. Johnson, 91, of Roscoe Road, died Sunday, June 23, 2002, at Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh.

She was born in Granville, N.Y., July 27, 1910, the daughter of Michael J. and Mary (Martin) Hyland.
