Published 06/17/02Julie L. HydeROUSES POINT — Julie L. Hyde, 33, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2002, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. Julie was a loving mother and daughter. She enjoyed music, reading and helping people. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. She is predeceased by a half-sister, Crystal Duprey. Survivors include her parents, Roger and Robin Janendo of Rouses Point; her father, Harold Duprey of Plattsburgh; one son, Roger J. Hyde of Rouses Point; a brother, Harold Edward Duprey of Chateaugay; a half-brother, Harold Duprey of Plattsburgh; a sister, Brenda Lee of Chateaugay; a half-sister, Marion Duprey of Plattsburgh; a step-sister and her husband, Rick and Emily Pessette of North Lawrence; a special aunt, Susan Phaneuf and her husband, Danny, of Champlain; special friends, David and Theresa Decker of Rouses Point; several aunts and uncles and great aunts and great uncles. There will be no public calling hours. A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at St. Mary’s Church in Champlain. A reception will be held at Armand’s Place II in Rouses Point immediately following the Mass. Arrangements are with Clark Funeral Home in Champlain. Bernadette A. LaBombardPLATTSBURGH — Bernadette A. LaBombard, 88, of Johnson Avenue, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at her residence. She was born in Plattsburgh on Aug. 31, 1913, the daughter of Louis and Maude (LaGoy) Parrotte. Bernadette worked Woolworth’s Department Store and then at Sacred Heart Nursing Home in Plattsburgh for 25 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Donna-Fae LaBombard of Morrisonville; three daughters, June Bouyea of Sumpter, S.C., Janice Scriver of Plattsburgh and Jackie Dumar of West Plattsburgh; one sister, Katherine Newell of Morrisonville; 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours and funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Donations in her memory may be made to the Plattsburgh Fire Department Ambulance Squad. The R.W. Walker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. JOHN E. RENADETTE SR., 91, of Ocala, Fla., and formerly of Plattsburgh, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at his home. He was born in Plattsburgh on Aug. 21, 1910, son of the late Eleazer and Emma (Brown) Renadette. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. EDNA MAE SWINYER, 93, formerly of Overlook Apartments, Bloomingdale, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at Uinlein Mercy Center, Lake Placid. Born in Vermontville, N.Y., on May 25, 1909, she was the daughter of John and Borgia (Rogers) Wright. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Andrea Sears, pastor of the Bloomingdale Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Vermontville. |
