Published 5/26/02Harold W. ForbesWest Plattsburgh — Mr. Harold W. Forbes, 91, of Route 3, passed away Friday, May 24, 2002, at his home. He was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Jan. 21, 1911, the son of John and Lillian (Cass) Forbes. Harold worked a salesman for Montgomery Ward, retiring in 1976 after more than 40 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and ballroom dancing. He was a member of St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Harold was predeceased by his wife Margaret B. (Golden) Forbes on March 25, 1991; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Golden; and a brother-in-law, Raymond Golden. He is survived by a daughter, Mary E. Forbes of West Plattsburgh; a sister, Evelyn Gillespie of Hampton, N.H.; two brothers-in-law, Francis Golden and his wife Mae and Clarence Golden of the Golden Road, Rand Hill; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Francis "Bud" (Ruth "Goldie") Moore of Plattsburgh and Mrs. James (Claire) Lafferty of Watertown; a sister-in-law, Janet Golden of the Golden Road; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. Interment will follow in St. Alexander's Cemetery. Friends wishing may make donations to the Forbes Family Scholarship at Seton Catholic School. Clifford J. Reyell, 71, passed away Friday, May 24, 2002, at the Clinton County Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. He was born in Redford, N.Y., on April 10, 1930, the son of William and Lucy (Miner) Reyell. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held Sunday, May 26, 2002, at 1 p.m. at the North Elba Cemetery in Lake Placid. The Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangements. Russell H. Baker, 72, of the Stratton Hill Road in West Chazy, died Saturday, May 25, 2002, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. Arrangements are incomplete and are under the direction of the Brown Funeral Home Inc, in Plattsburgh. Dean Grogan, 45, died May 22, 2002, at his home in Parkersburg, W.Va. He was born in Lyon Mountain on Oct 27, 1956, the son of Douglas and Yvonne Grogan. Arrangements are incomplete at this time. GRAVESIDE SERVICE White — A graveside service for Georgia S. White, who died Feb. 11, 2002, will take place on Wednesday, May 29, 2002, at 10:30 a.m. at the family plot of the Mt. Hope Cemetery of Ticonderoga. The Rev. Lauren P. Maxson will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, Ticonderoga.
