Published 5/9/02Cecile A. NugentPLATTSBURGH — Cecile A. Nugent, 78, of George Street, Plattsburgh, died Tuesday, May 7, 2002, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, Sept. 21, 1923, the daughter of Charles and Germaine (Blanchette) Boivin. She was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting. Survivors include two sons, Richard Nugent and Randy Nugent, both of Plattsburgh; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Edwin Scheunemann of Plattsburgh; her mother, Germaine Benoit of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Dorothy Carrabine of Las Vegas, Nev., and Pauline Bushey of Burlington, Vt.; six grandchildren, Catherine Webb of Plattsburgh, Laurie Baker of Keeseville, Anthony Nugent of Plattsburgh, Kenzie Nugent of Plattsburgh, Samantha Nugent of West Warwick, R.I., and Nicholas Nugent of West Warwick, R.I.; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Nugent; her father; a grandson, Richard Nugent II; two brothers; and two sisters. There will be no public calling hours. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 10, 2002, at 12 p.m. at St. Augustine’s Cemetery in Peru, with Rev. Vincente Jazmines, pastor, officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Foundation. Arrangements are with the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru. Howard Nenal Hanson, 61, died Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at his home in Orlando, Fla. He was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, on March 2, 1941, the son of Edward C. And Alfrieda (Desmarais) Hanson. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 10, 2002, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church, with the Rev. Floyd "Jerry" Bleaux presiding. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. Dorothy M. Henderson, 69, of Mill Street, Malone, N.Y., and formerly of Fort Covington, N.Y., died unexpectedly Tuesday evening, May 7, 2002, at the Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone. She was born in Owls Head, N.Y., Nov. 26, 1932, the daughter of the late Harold and Marie Benware Livernois. There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 14, 2002, at 9 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Fort Covington, with the Rev. Kris Lauzon officiating. Burial will be in the old St. Mary’s Cemetery in Fort Covington. Arrangements are through the Cappiello - McKenzie and Cosgrove Funeral Home of Fort Covington. Wilbert E. Beaudreau, 87, formerly of Oak Street, Plattsburgh, died Wednesday, May 8, 2002, at the Clinton County Nursing Home. Arrangements are incomplete with the R.W. Walker Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. WILLIAM B. HOGAN, 84, of Foote Street in Port Henry, died Tuesday, May 7, 2002, at CVPH in Plattsburgh following a long illness. Mr. Hogan was born in Ticonderoga on July 26, 1917, the son of William and Gertrude (Thatcher) Hogan. Calling hours will be held tonight (Thursday) at the Connery & Gunning Funeral Home in Ticonderoga from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 10, 2002, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at the Gerald B. Soloman National Veterans Cemetery in Saratoga. Hunt — A graveside service for Grace M. Hunt, who died Jan. 9, 2002, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2002, at Saranac Independence Cemetery in Saranac, with the Rev. Tracy Golas officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Robert M. King Funeral Home, Granville. Bigelow — A graveside burial service will be held for Herman V. "Bud" Bigelow, Saturday, May 11, 2002, at 10 a.m. in the Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeshore Road, Willsboro, N.Y. Mr. Bigelow died Feb. 19, 2002. Rev. Eileen Deming will officiate.
