Mackintosh, 91, of Summit Drive, Peru, and formerly of Glen Cove, Long Island, died Saturday, May 4, 2002, at the Meadowbrook Healthcare Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in England on Oct. 10, 1910, the daughter of James and Christine Kelly. Mrs. Mackintosh was a homemaker who was very active in the First Presbyterian Church in Glen Cove, Long Island. She was also a member of the Glen Cove Community Hospital Ladies Auxiliary for many years. She enjoyed knitting, reading and playing bridge. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, John and Ann Marie Mackintosh of Peru; two granddaughters, Laura and Susan Mackintosh of Peru and a grandson, John Mackintosh of Peru. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband John. There will be no public calling hours. A memorial service will be held at a later date on Long Island. Burial will be in the Locust Valley Cemetery in Locust Valley, Long Island. Arrangements are with the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru. Sharon A. CodneySchuyler Falls — Sharon A. Codney, 42, of Campsite Road, died Friday, May 3, 2002, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on May 13, 1959, the daughter of Charles H. and Joan M. (McCarthy) O'Toole. Sharon had been employed by UPS and H&R Block. She was a member of St. Augustine's Church in Peru. Sharon enjoyed bingo and dining out. Sharon is survived by her husband, Joseph R. Codney of Schuyler Falls; her mother, Joan M. O'Toole of Apopka, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Christopher Tedford of Schuyler Falls; a granddaughter, Brianna Tedford of Schuyler Falls; a sister, Karen O'Toole of East Providence, R.I.; a brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Alane O'Toole of Hornell; one niece, Katie O'Toole and one nephew, Brian O'Toole. Calling hours will be Monday, May 6, 2002, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A vigil prayer service will be held Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsburgh with Father Vincente F. Jazmines, pastor of St. Augustine's Church in Peru, officiating. Following cremation, burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Rouses Point. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Heart Association. Herbert F. LeClairEllenburg Corners — Herbert F. LeClair, 88, of Ellenburg Corners, died Saturday, May 4, 2002, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Ellenburg on June 11, 1913, the son of Peter and Lucy (Garneau) LeClair. Mr. LeClair was a dairy farmer and blacksmith for many years and was employed by Chilton Brothers for over 27 years. He was a member of St. Edmund's Church in Ellenburg. He is survived by his wife, Bertha (Malark) LeClair of Ellenburg Corners; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Lawrence LeClair of Ellenburg and James and Rose LeClair of South Hero, Vt.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Geraldine and Leeward Caron of Plattsburgh, Mary and Larry White of Mooers, Theresa and Bernard Bosley of Sciota and Linda and Malcolm Garrand of Mooers; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Blanche LeClair, died earlier. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the E.F. Drown Funeral Service in Ellenburg Depot.
