Charles E. "Charlie" Branham

Plattsburgh — Charles E. "Charlie" Branham, 57, of Hammond Lane, passed away on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2002, at CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Plattsburgh on Oct. 20, 1944, son of Bronce and Elizabeth (Jabaut) Branham.

Charlie had been employed by Ratigan Motors and McMartin Motors. He established his own automobile repair shop, Charlie’s Auto Repair. His last place of employment was Brockway Mechanicals, where he worked closely with his friend and employer, Doug Brockway.

Charlie enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and NASCAR racing.

Charlie will be remembered by many for his hard work, dedication, kindness and his big smile.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of nearly 38 years, Gloria A. (Hebert) Branham of Plattsburgh; four daughters and one son-in-law, Patti Branham and her companion, Rick Jennette of Morrisonville, Charlene Branham of Schuyler Falls, April (Branham) and Bill Clukey Jr. Of Champlain and Carrie (Branham) Tyndall and her companion, Rick Frenyea of Schuyler Falls; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Bruce Harrell of Pennsylvania and Diane and Loyal Caron of Plattsburgh; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Russell and Linda Branham of Plattsburgh, Bill "Punk" Branham of Plattsburgh, Robin Branham of Plattsburgh and Bucko and Tammy Branham of Plattsburgh; a brother-in-law, Robert "Woody" Wood of Plattsburgh; five grandchildren, Caleb, Char Lee; Cierra, Kagan and Sarah; and several nieces and nephews.

Charlie was predeceased by his parents; and one sister, Bonnie Wood.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 3, 2002, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3 p.m. from the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsburgh. Burial will follow in Whispering Maples Mausoleum in Plattsburgh.

Friends wishing to remember Charlie may make donations to the family or to a charity of their choice.

Margaret M. Moran, 83, of Plattsburgh, died Sunday, March 31, 2002, at Evergreen Valley Nursing Home in Plattsburgh.

She was born in Plattsburgh on June 22, 1918, the daughter of Arthur and Bell (Charland) Dubuque.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 2, 2002, from 9 to 11:15 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church in Plattsburgh, with Rev. Jerry Bleaux, pastor, celebrating. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Plattsburgh.

Jacqueline M. Andrews, 48, of Cedar Street, Malone, N.Y., died Saturday, March 30, 2002, at CVPH in Plattsburgh, N.Y. She had been a patient there since March 21, 2002.

She was born in Tonawanda, N.Y., on May 21, 1953, the daughter of the late Frank and Joyce (Burnell) Angus.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church in Malone, with Msgr. C. John McAvoy officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery on the Lake Titus Road, in Malone, later in the spring.

Arrangements are through the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Service, Inc., in Malone.
