Published 3/26/02Wallace E. TrayahPERU — Wallace E. Trayah, 69, of the Dashnaw Road, Peru, died Saturday, March 23, 2002, at his residence. He was born in Milton, Vt., Aug. 28, 1932, the son of Ernest and Phyllis (Loveless) Trayah. He married the former Anne Klein, Aug. 15, 1953, at St. Joseph’s Church in Burlington, Vt. Mr. Trayah was a retired Ordinance Specialist with the U. S. Air Force. He was a life member of the Peru VFW Post 309. Survivors include his wife, Anne (Klein) Trayah of Peru; four sons, Wallace James and Billy Joe of Salisbury, N.C., Timothy Dale of Ferrisburgh, Vt., and David Wayne of Colchester, Vt.; eight grandchildren, Timothy Philip, Joanna Lee, Stephanie, Joe, Brittany, Shirley Ann, Hayden and Wallace James Jr.; two sisters, Patricia King of St. Albans, Vt., and Eileen Morgan of Grand Isle, Vt.; one brother, Richard Trayah of Milton, Vt.; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Peru. A service of the word will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. at St. Augustine’s Church in Peru, with Monsignor Joseph Aubin, retired, officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery in Burlington, Vt. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association. Ovid E. FacteauPeru — Ovid E. Facteau Jr., 80, died Monday March 25, 2002, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Beekmantown on July 12, 1921, the son of Ovid Facteau Sr. and Lena Collins Facteau. Survivors include two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Andrew and Barbara Facteau and Howard and Carmen Facteau of Saranac; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Alice Cringle of Cadyville, Midred and Irving Rock, also of Cadyville and Barbara and Wayne Sorrell of Schenectady; and several nieces and nephews also survive. A sister, Monica Rabideau and a brother, Clement Facteau, died before him. Calling hours will be on Tuesday, March 26, 2002, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the O’Neill - Redden - Drown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption in Redford. Burial will be at a later date in the parish cemetery. Frederick Sisson Tuller Sr.APACHE JUNCTION, ARIZ. — Frederick Sisson Tuller Sr., 88, of Apache Junction, Ariz., died March 24, 2002, in Apache Junction. Mr. Tuller a motel proprietor and World War II U.S. Navy veteran was born in Hartford, Conn. He is survived by a son, Frederick Sisson Tuller Jr.; brothers, Rev. Edwin H. Tuller and William J. Tuller; grandchildren, Tammy Arquette., Terri Balko, Frederick S. Tuller III; Felix Tuller, Jason Tuller, Thomas Tuller, Jennifer Tuller, Tosha Tuller. He also has five great-grandchildren surviving him. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2002, with visitation one hour prior to service at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W. Juniper Ave., Gilbert, Ariz. Frederick William MacLaren, 71, of Charleston and Oak Park, Ill., died in his Oak Park home on Wednesday, March 20, 2002, after a two year battle with cancer. Dr. MacLaren was born on April 13, 1930, in Malone, N.Y. A celebration of Dr. MacLaren’s life will be held at a later date. Doris T. Bruso, 67, of the Fay Road, Westville, N.Y., died Sunday afternoon, March 24, 2002, at the Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone, N.Y. She had been a patient there since March 13, 2002. She was born in Malone, July 18, 1934, the daughter of the late Charles, and Thelma (Fayette) Thompson. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Bruso-Desnoyers Funeral Home in Malone. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Garry Giroux officiating, Burial will be in St. Augustine’s Cemetery in North Bangor later in the spring. David N. Stone, 73, of Morrisonville, died Sunday March 24, 2002, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh.
