Published 2/02/02Margaret Evelyn KlinkESSEX — Margaret Evelyn Klink, 69, of Lakeshore Road in Essex, formerly of Bethlehem, Pa., died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at her home in Essex. She was born July 9, 1933, in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of Fredrick and Martha (Schmid) Kobel. Mrs. Klink graduated from Buffalo State Teacher’s College and taught home economics, at Orchard Park Sr. High School, in Orchard Park, N.Y. She was a member of the Essex Community Church, the Council on Ministeries, the renovation committee, The Elizabethtown Westport Garden Club, The Women’s International Red Hat Society, The Essex Co. Republican Women’s Organization, United Methodist Women’s Assoc., and a board member of the Belden-Nobel Library in Essex, N.Y. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Klink of Essex; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn L. and Walter Rampacher of Coopersburgh, Pa.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Bruce D. and Cheryl Klink of Matthews, N.C., and Dr. David F. and Debbie Klink of Ijamsville, Md.; a sister, Ruth Downey; two brothers, Elmar Kobel of Boca Raton, Fla., Fred Kobel of West Seneca, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, Lauren and Matthew Rampacher, Rachel and Emily Klink and Adam, Elyse, and Miranda Klink. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002, at 2 p.m. at the Essex Community Church, with a reception following the service. Flowers gratefully declined. LaBarge, 80, of the White Road in Mooers Forks, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2002, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by the Brown Funeral Home in Altona. Gladys F. Mitchell, 80, formerly of Chester, Pa., died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home. Kenneth Planty, 73, of Dorsey Street in Saranac Lake, N.Y., and formally of Lake Placid, N.Y., passed away Feb. 1, 2002, at the Adirondack Medical Center. He was born in Stockholm, N.Y., April 3, 1928, the son of Walter and Eva (LaValley) Planty. Visitation will be held at the Clark Funeral Home in Lake Placid on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Judson Peeler, rector of St. Eustace Episcopal Church in Lake Placid, will officiate. Burial will follow in the North Elba Cemetery. |
